Establishing young people's needs
Youth Consultations and Capacity-Building
The STARTTS Youth Team provides Capacity-Building (CB) Trainings and Youth Consultations with different cultural groups, schools, services and community organisations to better support and advocate for young people and their needs.
Capacity-Building means helping organisations strengthen the way they work with young people. This could include training staff, sharing tools or guiding organisations to design programs that are appropriate, relevant and meaningful for young people.
Youth Consultations are a process where young people in a community group are invited to share their thoughts, experiences and ideas. This helps make sure that young people’s voices shape decisions, programs and services they use.
Both CB and Consultations aim to listen to communities and work together so that decisions and activities reflect the real needs, interests and strengths of young people.
Consultations and trainings are organised depending on the needs and requests of STARTTS, it’s clients and partner organisations.
